In poker games, there are cheaters who do not cheat by just manipulating the cards but by taking chips right from the pot. Yes, they cheat by stealing. It’s an amazing reality that cheaters could even reach the point where they would steal like a thief in a dark night just to win in something called a game. But it’s the reality individuals who are into poker have to face.

Means to Steal

Typically, players who intend to cheat by stealing chips right from the pot carry out their scheme when they are in the position of a dealer allowing them to make any type of interaction with the pot. They will then use some sleight of hand techniques so they can quickly steal some chips.

At times, when lots of players tend to splash the pot, cheaters also take advantage of the situation. They would simply make a call, bet, or raise, and then place the chips directly into the pot, rather than setting them in front of themselves. Doing so would give them the chance to have their hands in or close to the pot.

Watch Over the Pot and the Dealer!

If the poker game is being run by a house dealer in an underground poker room, stealing chips right from the pot would be so easy for cheaters. They could easily interact with the pot and take too many chips out.

Thus, if you will be in a game you know will be run by a house dealer in an underground poker room, watch over the pot seriously. Also, do not forget to watch over the dealer. Keep your eyes on him or her most especially when he or she deals with pot. He or she might steal from the pot without your knowing.
